Obituary of Cecelia G. von Ahrens

Cecelia G. von Ahrens “Scotty” “Bobbie” “Ceil”, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Factoryville on October 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger W. von Ahrens, Sr.

Born in Elizabeth Town, NJ on July 5, 1942 she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Ritzel Scott.

Originally from Elizabeth, NJ, Cecelia loved to relax with a good book or puzzles. She traveled the world but hated flying, was an avid gardener and animal lover. A very classy lady who bore herself with grace. She is greatly loved and will be missed by many but we are comforted knowing she is in God’s loving arms.

Ceil was survived by three daughters, Greta von Ahrens, Christina von Ahrens-Zagata and boyfriend Harry Phillips, Joanna von Ahrens and husband Sean Fitzpatrick, son Roger von Ahrens, widower of Susan; sister, Mary Jane Zamorski, brother Richard Scott; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, childhood friend Marilyn Bonfiglio.  .

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Theresa Szymanski and Joanne Scott
