Obituary of Phyllis F. Ritchie

Phyllis F. Ritchie, 74, of Mehoopany passed away January 8, 2019 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock PA. She is survived by her loving husband William Simon.

Born in Bristol, CT on November 20, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mildred Czarnecki Brown.

Phyllis was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Joseph and Brian Stever both of Philadelphia; two daughters, Samantha Munz of Mehoopany, and Vera Stever of Philadelphia; sister, Carol Brown of Philadelphia; fourteen grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Arthur Stever III.

Family and friends are invited to attend Phyllis’s funeral service which will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657. A viewing will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
