Obituary of Alice A. Yale

Alice A. Yale, 89, of Russell Hill passed away on December 16, 2014. Born June 21, 1925, Alice was the daughter of the late Michael and Felixa Evanitsky Supeck.
She was a member of the Tunkhannock Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Since 1954 she zealously shared her hope for the future under God's Kingdom with everyone she met. An avid quilter, Alice made over 200 quilts in her lifetime. Her creations warm the beds of many homes in the local area and across the country. She loved gardening and especially loved the clematis flower.
She is predeceased by her husband, Samuel C. Yale; a brother, Michael Supeck, a sister, Priscilla Kintner, and a grandson, Devin Yale.
She is survived by a sister, Sylvania Pennay of Russell Hill; four children, Barbara Nichols of Russell Hill, Clifford Yale and wife Danielle of Springville, David Yale and wife Emily of Mehoopany, and Daniel Yale and wife Laura of Lemon; seven grandchildren, Joshua Yale, Aarron Nichols and wife Jennifer, Keirsten Morris and husband Kenneth, Leila Roehrich and husband Jeremy, Carrie Scamell and husband Matthew, Daron Yale and wife Jenessa, and Ashley Weaver and husband Scott; and seven great grandchildren, Tyler Gabardy, Tyler, Tripp and Kaylee Morris, Clark and Tucker Nichols, and Greyden Roehrich.
A memorial service will b e held at a later date.
