Obituary of Thomas Gozikowski

Thomas W. Gozikowski Thomas “Tommy Guss” Gozikowski, age 58, entered into eternal peace at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center on Friday, April 17, 2015. Born October 3, 1956, in Kingston, to Myrtle Jean (Evans) Gozikowski currently of Kingston and the late Thomas G. Gozikowski, Tom was a lifelong resident of Falls. Dedicated to the well-being of his community, he served as Supervisor for Exeter Township, Wyoming County from 1995 through 2007. An avid outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the Susquehanna River held a special place in his heart. He will be especially remembered for his quick wit, passion for his town, love for his family and friends, talent for baseball, and excellent cooking skills. Tom was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1974. He was employed as Plant Operator for Pennsy Supply for twelve years, and previously, he was with Wyoming Sand and Stone Company for nearly thirty years. Surviving are his daughter Jessica Kelly (Carlos) Santos of Washington Boro, PA; his brothers, David (Dolores) Gozikowski of Falls, Wayne (Marie) Gozikowski of Harding, Scott (Patricia) Gozikowski of Centermoreland; his sister Donna Gozikowski of Exeter; his grandchildren Mateo and Nayeli Santos; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
