I met Father Casey along time ago when he was the Athletic Moderator at St. Mary's H.S and my father Bill Morgan Sr. was the basketball coach. After home games he came to our Protestant house where he could perhaps let his hair down a bit. He came to my last high school basketball game and you can imagine the reaction in a public school to the presence of a priest in the audience. This was 1959. Father Casey was a friend to our family and I will always remember his kindness and his joy for life. Bill Morgan Jr.

Fr. Casey was our long ago friend and confessor--we loved him...he prepared us for marriage (Aug 20, 1966) when he was at St. Patrick's. We saw him last in 1984 in Florida...his usual gracious self, so humble, so other focused, so spirit-filled. Two fond memories (1) he always knew us as the couple who went to confession together BEFORE our Saturday nite dates!!!, (2) while preparing us for marriage he said to focus on each other and to go on a vacation instead of buying furniture! Father Casey, please pray for us!

My prayer and sympathy to the Casey family at the death of Fr. Casey. He filled in for me a couple of times when I was in Bentley Creek so that I could get away. May your faith console you and your memories of him comfort you. I will offer mass for the repose of his soul which is now with The Lord feasting at the heavenly banquet. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. Fr. Ron Hughes

My condolences to the Casey family for their loss. I fondly remember Father Casey as he took a group of girls to New York City and that was my first trip to the "Big Apple" and we went to the Brass Rail for dinner. I remember it well and as I am 78, you can see that was many years ago. May you rest in peace dear JWKC as you signed my birthday card many years ago. Cathy Harding Gallagher Lehigh Acres FL.
