Elaine Pilcher, 91, of Tunkhannock, passed away peacefully at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock on February 27th with her family by her side. Born on April 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge and Lillian (Shallow) Tallada. She was employed by Bocar Dress Factory for 16 years. She loved camping and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harry Pilcher and three brothers Raymond, Robert, and Norman Tallada. Elaine is survived by her children, Harry Pilcher, Tunkhannock, Susan Waardenburg, New Jersey, Norman Pilcher and wife Becky, Brooklyn, PA and James Pilcher, Tunkhannock. Six grandchildren, Art Waardenburg, Maryland, Brenda Waardenburg, New Jersey, Christopher Pilcher and friend Becky Smith, Hazelton, Melissa Pilcher and partner Becky Book, Rhode Island, Aaron Pilcher and wife Stephanie, Tennessee, Ashley Pilcher and fiancé Kyle Rhoads, Manheim, and one great-granddaughter Charlotte Pilcher, Tennessee. Private funeral services for the family will be held on Friday, with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA.
