We met Emilie in 1971. We were only moved in a few days when she delivered homemade blueberry muffins. And, over the years, when she would bake an apple pie she would always bring us a piece...in her later years when she couldn't drive, her husband, Don, would drive her to the house and she would knock on the back door and deliver the pie - it was so typical of her generosity. About once a month she would call on a Saturday evening and asked if she could take our children to Sunday School and Church. We've not had a neighbor like her and we lived in 17 different places. Emilie will always a special place in our hearts, not just for her kindness toward others, but for her love for the LORD. She was a powerful witness for Him. As much as we sorrow for her loss, we rejoice with her family at her hearing when she entered heaven: "Well done, good and faithful servant." In Christ, Ron & Jeanne Biggar
