Marjorie L. Brown, 79, of Scranton, died Monday in the Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She was born in Mill City, PA. on March 14, 1930, daughter of the late Eugene and Edna (Ross) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Brown. Surviving are two sons: John Brown and Raymond Brown, four daughters: Edna Donavan, Susan Brown, Shirley Brown, and Ellamae Whitmire, one brother: Eugene Thomas and two sisters: Grace and Maryann, 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Richard Wormer of the Tunkhannock Assembly Of God. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 until the time of the service.
