Obituary of Mildred M Hammer

Mildred M. Hammer of Falls died Friday February 4, 2011 in the Lackawanna Health and Rehab Center in Peckville. She was born in Bethlehem on October 27, 1921 daughter of the late Levi F. and Ida Kindness George Kromer.
Mildred was a 1940 graduate of Liberty High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Bethlehem Steel as a Typist. She also was employed by Hess Brothers in Allentown for 26 years and the Tunkhannock Area School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Hammer, son Vernon Hammer Jr.. Surviving are daughters Beth Hammer of Boerne, Tx., Susan Woloszyn of Tunkhannock, sister Doris Rohrbach of Emmaus, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 11am in Union Cemetery, Hellertown, Pa. Arrangements by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.sheldonkukuchkafuneralhome.com.
