Elsie M. Clark of Pennsylvania Ave. Tunkhannock died at her home on Friday February 4, 2011. Elsie was born in Clinton Twp., Wyoming County on August 25, 1925 daughter of the late Earl Miller and Jennie Ann Slusser White. Prior to her retirement Elsie was employed by the Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory in Tunkhannock. She was a member of the East Lemon United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Clark, granddaughter Robin Bartron, Brother Walter White, sisters Lillian Raspen, Charlotte Puterbaugh, Celina Ball, Edith White and Evelyn White. Surviving is a son and daughter in law Donald and Cheryl Clark of Tunkhannock, daughter Carolyn Vest of Seattle, Washington, 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral and committal services will be held on Thursday February 10th at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with the Rev. Margie McCarty, Pastor of the East Lemon United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Lemon United Methodist Church. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.sheldonkukuchkafuneralhome.com.
