Robert H. Penrith Sr. went home to the Lord on March 11, 2011, after a brief stay at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Bob was born on February 27, 1935 son of the late Cecil and Emily Penrith. Bob was employed at Bendix Corp. in S. Montrose prior to his retirement. He also worked at Jonah Frameworks, Meshoppen. He was a faithful member of the Biblical Baptist Church, Meshoppen, where he served in many capacities for 34 years. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia; his eight children, Gary Myers and wife Janet, Robin Henry and husband Gary, Vicky Penoyer and husband Sanford, Cheryl Pickering and husband Harold, Teresa Blow and husband Daniel, Connie Burridge and husband Robert, Mark Myers and wife Linda, and Robert Penrith, Jr. ; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at the Biblical Baptist Church, Meshoppen with Pastor Gary Myers officiating. Interment will be at Rural Rest Cemetery, Kaiserville at a later date. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA.
