Louis H. Avery Louis H. Avery of Mill City, Overfield Twp. died on Saturday in the Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was born in Mill City, PA. on May 26, 1934, son of the late Harry and the late Alice Black Avery. He worked as a Truck Driver and prior to his retirement he was employed by Haddon Craftsman in Scranton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Smith, sister’s, Eleanor Ball and Gladys Radle. Surviving is his wife of 55 years Williamette Shearer, sons Louis Eugene Avery, Bernsville, Pa., James Lee Avery of Dalton, sister: Joyce Watermen of Dalton, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Pastor Paul J. Fields, Pastor of the Factoryville Baptist Church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM.
