Robert L. Cook formerly of Laceyville died Saturday in the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. He was born in Northmoreland Twp., Wyoming County on July 9, 1927 son of the late Frank and Jennie Cook. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Walter Wolfe farms in Lehman and retired from the Laceyville Agway Store in 1989. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Sands Cook and a sister Thelma Kunz. Surviving is a son David and wife Trudy of Tunkhannock, grandson Kevin of Jenningsville, granddaughter Kelly Cook of Tunkhannock, great-grand daughter Karyn of Jenningsville. Brothers and Sisters in laws, Jerome and Theresa Cook of Tunkhannock, Richard and JoAnn Cook of Bordentown, NJ and Harry and Liz Cook of Huntington, NJ. Sisters and brother in laws Joan and Ben Augustine of Penfield, NY, Pearl and Bob Ravitt of Knoxville, Tenn., Irene and Carl Paglione of Bordentown, NJ, Arlene and Dick Dobrosielski of Pinehurst, NC, Carol and Ed Koeing of Bordentown, NJ, Barbara and James Strunk of Tunkhannock, Aunts Loretta Thompson of Ohio and Josephine Denmon of Dallas. Also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral home 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Tony Ogden of the Tunkhannock Baptist Church. Interment will be in Perrins Marsh cemetery, Centermoreland. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 until the time of service.
