Geraldine M. Trauger of Lake Winola and Gulf Port, Fl passed away Sunday evening in the Community Medical Center Scranton. She was born in Northmoreland Township Wyoming County on December 16, 1928 daughter of the late Russell and Hazel Howell Jacques. She was a 1946 graduate of Falls Overfield High School and a member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church. Prior to her retirement she and her husband were the owners of Trauger’s Hardware and Gas Store in Mill City for 40 years. She was preceded in death by a brother Fred Jacques. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Howard Trauger. Brothers and sisters-in-law Russell and Naomi Jacques, Indian Trail, NC, and Carl and Esther Jacques of Mill City. Sisters and brothers-in-law Marion and Clayton Finch of Falls, Frances and Arthur Gable of Tunkhannock, and sister-in-law Romaine Jacques of Mill City. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am from the Lake Winola United Methodist Church with Pastor Joan Dodson and Doctor David Dippold of Royersford, PA nephew of Mrs. Traugers. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. Friends may call at Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
