Alan D. Robinson of Mehoopany died Saturday in the Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was born in Windham Twp. Wyoming County on February 23, 1932 son of the late Lewis V. and Mary Stevens Robinson. Alan was a 1955 graduate of Mehoopany High School and retired from the Procter and Gamble Plant in Mehoopany. For several years he severed as secretary and treasure of the North Flat Cemetery Association. And was a former trustee of the Jenningsville United Methodist Church. A member of the Endless Mountains Antique Tractor Association and an all around cowboy. Alan was preceded in death by an infant sister Laura Lou Robinson and a sister Bernice Goodwin and a grandson Tyler G. Robinson. Surviving his is wife of 55 years Bessie Ferris Robinson, sons and daughter in laws Robin and Cyn Robinson, Zane and Cindy Robinson and son Barry Robinson all of Mehoopany. Daughter and son in law, Gwen and Greg Techky of Hazlet, NJ. Brothers Arden and Lewis Robinson of Mehoopany, John and Ira Robinson of Meshoppen and Randy Robinson of Laceyville, sisters Barbara Smith of Mehoopany, Rosemary Bellows of Nevada, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with the Rev. Charles Bishop Pastor of the Elk Lake Methodist Church. Interment will be in North Flat Cemetery, Laceyville. There will be no calling hours.
