Wilma M. Hopfer of Tannery St., Noxen died Friday evening in Hospice Community Care-Geisinger South in Wilkes-Barre, Wilma was born in Kingston on October 15, 1945 daughter of Clara Smith Rifenbery of Beaumont and the late William Rifenbery. Wilma was a 1963 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and for many years she was a Sunday School Teacher at the Beaumont Union Gospel Church. She was a member of NWTF and enjoyed Traveling, camping and being with her grandchildren and family. Surviving is her husband of 45 years Gary Hopfer, sons and daughter in laws Robert and Jana Hopfer of Noxen, Gerald and Jodi Hopfer, of Dallas, son and companion William Hopfer and Ryan Tucker of Pittston, daughters and son in laws Judy and Donald Weber of Beaumont, Cindy and Rob Holton of Evans Falls, brother and sister in law Robert and Pat Rifenbery of South Auburn, sister and brother in law Ruth and Edward Lewis of Sarasota, Fla., Grandchildren Fawne and Laurel Hopfer, Wade and Bethany Weber, Dustin and Zachary Hopfer and Shane and Mark Holton, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Jerry Mattocks. Interment will be in Orcutt Cemetery, Noxen. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Noxen Fire Department, 3493 Stull Road, Noxen, Pa. 18636.
