Matthew T. Carichner of Mile Road Tunkhannock died Wednesday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident earlier in the evening. Matthew was born on November 26, 1987 son of Dean E. Carichner of Tunkhannock and the late Frances M. Madill Carichner. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School class of 2007. Matthew was a self employed auto mechanic and enjoyed working with his fathers company Mountainside Landscaping. Matthew had the ability to fix any thing and he enjoyed having a good time and making you laugh. Once you where his friend you always were his friend. He loved the feeling and freedom of riding his motorcycle. In addition to his father he is survived by brothers Joseph and Dana Carichner of Tunkhannock, maternal grandmother Geraldine Farr Madill of Tunkhannock, Paternal grandmother Sarah Carichner of Tunkhannock. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening June 21st at 8 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Lori Robinson. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 PM until the time of service. On line condolence may be sent to the family at www.sheldonkukuchkafuneralhome.com.
