Obituary of Lucile M Brown

Lucile M. Brown formerly of Wyoming County, Sullivan County, and Sebring Fl, passed away on January 9’th in Maryville, Tenn. She was born in Elkland Township Sullivan County on May 30, 1914 daughter of the late Clinton and Rachel Collins McCarty. She was a graduate of Estella High School and prior to her retirement was employed by Link Aviation in the blue print department. Lucile was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband T. Kenneth Brown, two brothers and six sisters. Surviving is a son Marvin and wife Joyce Brown of Maryville Tenn., daughter Eileen and Paul Churchill of Mocksville NC, and Harriet Perkins of Maryville Tenn. She also has a sister, Vesta Minnier of Sullivan County, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Leola and Herbert Steele of Tunkhannock and a sister-in-law Jean Brown of Tunkhannock. There are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA with the Rev. Kenneth Tapper friend of the family officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Radio Bible Class Ministries PO Box 2222 Grand Rapids MI 49501-2222.
