This is just a little note to the Family, to first offer our condolences on the loss of a very special man, and then to share a special memory about Stanley. My Grandmother, Pauline Moshier, use to cook at the old jail where Stanley once worked. We would often stop by after school to visit Grandma, and Stanley would always come and talk to us in the "little kitchen" by the side door. My father, Steve, told me this morning that when he thinks of Stanley, he remembers the way Stanley would always "sneak" some of the raw potatoes my grandmother was preparing and would tell my dad they were his favorite snack. My dad says he often still thinks of Stanley when he is slicing raw potatoes, as his granddaughter "sneaks" her share :) I know this does not help take away the pain in losing your loved one, but do know that he surely had a way of bringing smiles and memories to many people on his journey throughout his life. May he rest in Peace, He will be remembered fondly.
