Obituary of Robert M Kolmansberger

Robert M. “Kozy” Kolmansberger of Kozy Lane Mehoopany died Sunday October 17, 2010 in Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was born in Pittston on March 16, 1953 son ofg the late Vincent and Dorothy Williams Kolmansberger. Robert was a 1971 graduate of St. John Evangelist High School in Pittston and attended Kings College. He retired from the Proctor and Gamble Plant in Mehoopany after 28 years of service and served as a substitute mail carrier in Meshoppen. Robert also worked for a short time at the Kane Warehouse in Meshoppen. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed vacationing in Jamaica. Robert was preceded in death by a sister Janet McHale, surviving is his wife of ten years Heather Shields Kolmansberger, step sons Jacob and wife Allyson Blasure of Grand forks, North Dakota, Mathew Blasure of Tunkhannock, Step daughter Lenay and husband David Wolf of Wysox, Pa., brothers, James and wife Carol of New Cumberland, Pa., John and wife Barbara of Toms River, NJ, sisters Dorothy and husband John Reilly of Camp Hill, Pa., Peggy and husband John Lemoncelli, of Archbald, Pa., Joan and husband Bob Cituk of Hollywood, Md., Jane and husband Bill Dessoye of Pittston and 5 step grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of Kozy life will be held on Sunday October 31 at 2 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service.
