Robert J. Davies 56, of Tunkhannock formerly of Boonton, New Jersey died Monday March 1 at his residence. He was born in Peckville, Pa on February 10, 1954 son of Jeanne Driesbaugh Davies and the late Rees Squire Davies. He was a graduate of the Boonton High School and two years of Technical school. He was an electrician by trade. He later worked for a Health Care Co. designing and modifying wheel chairs for special needs patients throughout the Tri State area. He loved ballroom dancing having won a bronze medal in competition in New York City. He also enjoyed acting in musicals at the local theaters. His leisure time was spent riding his horse Ginger and his motorcycle. He moved to Tunkhannock in 1995 where he worked at the Shadowbrook Resort until he became ill. He is survived by his sister Barbara Jeanne and her husband Douglas Tindall, of Boonton, New Jersey, and two nephews Clay and Austin Tindall. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved him dearly and who were always there for him. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Archbald Cemetery with Pastor Lori Robinson. Memorial donations can be made to the Wyoming County Cancer Society P.O. Box 629 Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Arrangement by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
