Ronald L. Clark, of Harding Lane, Tunkhannock, died Thursday, December 16, 2010, in Mercy Tyler Hospital shortly after admission. His wife is the former Mary Lou Steele, and together they shared 51 years of marriage. He was born in Tunkhannock, on August 17, 1935, a son of the late Leo W. and Dora Ball Clark and stepson of the late Maude Corby Clark. Ronald was a 1953 graduate of Tunkhannock High School, receiving his GED while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a veteran of the Korean War, and prior to his retirement he had been employed as a boilermaker for 38 years. He was a member of Temple Lodge No. 248 F&AM Tunkhannock, The Valley of Scranton Consistory, Irem Temple Shriners in Dallas, American Legion Post No. 154 and VFW Post 583. Ronald was preceded in death by brothers, Robert W. Clark and Leo L. Clark. Surviving are a son and wife, Richard and Jean Clark, of Knoxville, Tenn., a daughter and husband, LuAnn and Richard Hinaman, of Tunkhannock; and a grandson Benjamin Clark. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at The Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Brian Hill, of the Eaton Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Triton Hose Co., 116 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
