Obituary of Alton R. Stark

Alton R. Stark Jr. 61, of Tunkhannock, died Tuesday at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Deborah H. Lemardy. He was born in Meshoppen, Pa on July 31, 1948 son of Lois Fassett Stark, of Tunkhannock and the late Alton R. Stark Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of the Tunkhannock Area High school and was employed by IBM for 32 years as a computer programmer. Alton enjoyed cars, fishing, and Penn state Football and most of all his family. He was preceded in death by his sister Roberta Campbell. He is survived by his daughter Shannon Stark-Witter, of Tunkhannock, son and daughter in law Alton R. III and Krista, of Tunkhannock, brother Lewis Stark, of Birchardville, sisters Dawn Stark, of Tunkhannock, Barbara Rando, of Vestal, NY, Patricia Krupa, of Philadelphia and Carol O’Donnell, of Philadelphia, two Granddaughters Elizabeth and Sarabeth, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga Street Tunkhannock. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
