My deepest sympathy is extended to the family and loved ones of this brave officer. My father was a Pittsburgh Police Officer for 37 years, so I feel a kinship with families of those who feel it is their calling to help others, often risking their own lives in the process. My father retired in 1993; he passed away in 2002, after battling chronic lymphacetic leukemia for 16 years. I miss him every minute of every hour of every day. Tomorrow is Father's Day, a very difficult day for me to endure. However, I can thankfully take comfort and joy in the knowledge that, due to the sacrifice of our Lord, we will be together again someday - and there will be no more sadness, no more tears, no more goodby's. To the family and loved ones of Officer Miller, I pray that you, too, will be comforted by this knowledge. Sincerely, Katie Andrasko

My father was a state policeman for 35 years and retired with deep admiration for his job and his co-workers. My sister and I were very proud to say our father was a state policeman when we were growing up. My mother watch the funeral Trooper Miller with great sadness recalling all the sleepless nights she spent worrying about my dad. She is and always was proud of our trooper too. We even named our puppy Trooper. We would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss and we will pray for him and his family. God bless you.

As a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator / Supervisor for Clinton County 9-1-1 in Lock Haven, PA I can only imagine the pain all his family, friends, and co-workers are going through at this moment. As a former Marine, just as Josh, I also know how dedicated a professional he was to protect those who asked for his assistance in our Commonwealth. Like the Marine Corps hymn states, "If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heaven's scenes; They will find the streets are guarded,By United States Marines." Hand Salute Trooper Miller, you've shown us all what the true meaning of "Esprit de Corps" really means. Semper Fidelis.

We are so proud of you Josh you are going to be remembered as one of our Heros. I remember how scared and unsure of what you wanted to do when you first got to Camp LeJuene but you have grown into a wonderful man. You are a great father too. You loved Justine so much and you were so gentle with her when she was a baby. That is what I like about the picture I took of you and Justine. It is my favorite. You will be missed by all, especially by Bill. He loved you very much. Our sympathies are with you Angela and with the girls too.
