I was shocked to hear the news of Nicole's passing. She worked in the pharmacy with me and was a wonderful addition to the department and the world. We survived several ACS Relay for Life events together. I was often surprised with emails of Lucy dressed up for the holidays after she left here. I often thought of her over the years and am sorry that we lost touch. The world has lost a truely wonderful person.

I am so sorry for your loss. The world has lost a wonderful person. Nicole was a wonderful coworker and a supportive friend. She was very giving of herself. She accomplished more in her short time than many people do in a lifetime.

Nikki, You were my role model. You had such an amazing life & had accomplished SO many things. I only wish I could've been more like you. We had SO many childhood memories together, from playing at Grandpa & Grandma Boice's farm, riding our bikes in the barn, climbing in the huge rabbit cage, fishing, camping in your back yard, playing house, ice skating, and soooo many more. I will NEVER forget you. I will cherish EVERY memory we had. I love you and miss you dearly. Please tell Grandpa, Grandma, Betsy & Aunt Sharon we love them & miss them too. Someday we will see all of you.

To the Family of Nikki, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is heavy today. To lose Nikki is to lose a sweet, caring, loving person that the world will not feel the same without. She was such a source of support and inspiration for me. I met Nikki at Rader Programs when I was there with her in 2008. She was such a support to me and someone that really helped me get into recovery. I owe a lot to her. She was the first person there that seemed to really take interest in me and make me feel welcome. If Nikki would not have done so, I may not have stayed at Rader, and I may not have worked on recovery. Through my stay there she was one person I knew I could go to if I needed someone to sit with. She really had a heart for others. Even in her darkest times she was reaching out to others, telling them there was a life beyond the monster of the eating disorder. Her smile could light up a room. The courage she had to fight âEDâ made me want to fight even harder. She was a beautiful girl inside and out. The world will not be the same without her in it. The work that she did through FREED inspires me. Iâm going to miss her terribly. Know that I'm praying for your family and I'm sorry for your loss. In Christ, Bethany Mills

I will be praying for you all in this time. I went to school with Nikki and loved her dearly. It's too bad I never got to see her after high school, (in person) - "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death." Isaiah 57:1-2 New International Version "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Sarah Mosier
