Obituary of Jule C. Harvey

Jule C. Harvey 64 of Whippoorwill Rd, Tunkhannock died November 10th, at Mercy Hospice Scranton. Born November 30, 1945 she was a daughter of Lucille Meeker Harvey and the late Stirel Harvey Sr. Jule was a 1963 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College. She was employed at Bartikowsky Jewelry Store in Wilkes-Barre, was a housekeeper for several homes in Tunkhannock, and took care of her mother. She was an avid John Wayne fan and enjoyed knitting and reading. She was preceded in death by her father Stirel Harvey Sr., sister-in-law Nannatte Vigansky Harvey and niece Suzanne Harvey. In addition to her mother she is survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Monroe and Kay Harvey of Lander NY, Norman Harvey of Las Vegas NV, Stirel (Butch) and Lisa Harvey of Laceyville and Mark, Paul and Jonathan Harvey all of Tunkhannock: sisters and brothers in law, Patricia and Larry Thomson of Calabash NC, Millie and John Snyder of Lima OH, Inez and Steve Knutson of White Lake MN, Alice and John Davenport of Hunlock Creek, Esther Harvey of Minneapolis MN, and Virginia and Craig Welna of Bloomington, MN; 27 nieces and nephews, cousins and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Gary Myers officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of the service.
