Norris “Butch” Zeunen, of Slocum Ave passed away Wednesday, May 11th. Born June 20, 1944 in Berkeley, CA he was the son of the late Jon and Leatha Schkey Zeunen. Butch graduated from Paradise High School in California and attended San Mateo College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War a member of the American Legion Black Walnut Post and for 45 years worked as a Millwright and was a member of local 2237. Butch was most happy at his cabin surrounded by nature. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Leann and Bill Pene. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, the former Sharon Phinney Zeunen, and son and daughter in law Lenn and Melanie Zeunen of Tunkhannock and grandchildren Mary and Jack. Graveside military funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 am in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers and food the family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock.
