Edgar A. Belles of Prevost Lane Tunkhannock died Friday, February 11, 2011 at home. He was born in Dallas Twp. Luzerne County on March 10, 1914 son of the late George and Cora Knecht Belles. Edgar was a graduate of Dallas High School Class of 1932. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Kanarr Tool and Dye Marker in Kingston for over 40 years. A member of the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Dodgen Belles, son Ted Belles, brothers Arthur, Harry and Fred Belles, sister Alverna Lamoreaux. Surviving is a son Roger Belles of Tunkhannock, daughter and son in law Chris and Myron LaBar of Tunkhannock, grandchildren Doreen Simmonds, Denise McConnell, David Belles, Liz Derry, Carrie Smurkowski, Dustin LaBar, Jessica LaBar, Mekhi LaBar, Samiah LaBar and Adam Belles. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock at 10 am. Interment Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
