Janice Warnett, of Tunkhannock, died September 11, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock.
Born Dec. 24, 1914, in Throop, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Lucy Mayer Calwitts. Prior to her retirement, she was a seamstress at Rowker Manufacturing in Tunkhannock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander, in 1973; and her sister, Marion Augustine, in 2003.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Jean and Gerald Bennett, of Tunkhannock; her granddaughter and husband, Karen and George Stonier; and great-grandson, Adam Alexander Stonier, of Factoryville; her brother and sister-in-law, Gabriel and Alberta Callwitts, of Tunkhannock; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Pastor Richard Camp officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
