Megan A. Vermeulen, of Lawton, Pa., died Wednesday evening in the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville. She was born in Tunkhannock on February 16, 2001 daughter of Troy and Karen Hinkley Vermeulen. She was a student in the Multi Handicap Classroom of the Susquehanna Elementary School in Susquehanna. Megan attended the Dimock Christian Community Church. In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother Jason and sister Lauren at home. Maternal grandparents Robert and Barbara Hinkley of Springville, Paternal Grandparents Ronald and Patricia Vermeulen of Lovelton, Maternal Great Grandmother Charlotte Remington of Tunkhannock, Paternal Great grandmother Ottie Goodwin of Forkston., several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with the Rev Jane Bensley of the Dimock Christian Community Church. Interment will be in Lynn Cemetery, Lynn. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening 6 to 8. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, 100 North Academy Ave., Danville, Pa. 17822.
