Louis Walter Kubilus 83, of Factoryville died Thursday at Regional Hospital in Scranton. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Bettio Kubilus. Louis was born in Dickson City, Pa on June 4, 1929 son of the late Joseph and Rose Berkowski Kubilus. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a life time truck driver and also a member of the American Post 0375 in Factoryville. Louis loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, hunting and especially fishing. He was preceded in death by his brothers Eugene, Joseph, Leonard, and sisters Delores, Barbara, and Rosemarie. He is survived by his sons Max, of Harrisburg, Walter of Moosic, Tom of Troop, Tony of Carbondale, Louis Jr. of Chandler, Az., and daughter Maria Thorne of Tunkhannock, and brother Richard and sister Joan Krazan, eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from The St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tunkhannock interment will be in Fairview memorial Park in Elmhurst. Family and friends may call Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
