Chester Wikoski of Harrison St. Tunkhannock died Monday evening in the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. He was born in Tunkhannock on September 28, 1924 son of the late Walter and Bertha Cibulski Wikoski. Chet was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW2 and for 33 years he had been employed as a welder. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was a member of the Benton VFW, Black Walnut American Legion and the Tunkhannock Loyal Order of the Moose. Chet was preceded in death by sisters Beatrice Rice, Helen Miller, Anna Moore, Sophie Gentile, Rosemary Mikulski, brothers Walter, Alex and Edmund Wikoski. Surviving are sons Wayne of Tunkhannock, Stephen of Springville, Lorrie Rogers, of Tunkhannock, Teri Rewt of Charleston, SC, brother Lewis of Falls, 7 grandchildren, 1 step granddaughter and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Rev. Dan Doherty presiding. Interment will be in Pieta Cemetery Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of service.
