Obituary of Donald M. Shedaker

Donald M. Shedaker 69, of Mehoopany and formally of Riverside, NJ died Sunday, April 13 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayer, PA. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra Osgood Shedaker. He was born January 26, 1939 in Mount Holly, NJ son of the late Elton and Caroline Pacevich Shedaker. He was a member of the New Jersey National Guard, the Chris Colombo Club and the Riverside Moose, in Riverside, NJ and the Washington Fire Company, in Delanco, NJ. He enjoyed the outdoors he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed baseball. He was preceded in death by four children David, Dale, Daniel and Kevin. He is survived by two sons Donald Jr. and wife Sheila of Pennsauken, NJ, and Kenneth and wife Deborah, of Delanco, NJ, two daughters Shannan Callahan and Fiancée Brian Carr of Riverside, NJ. and Janina Shedaker and Fiancée Donald Jentsch, of Shamong, NJ. Brother Elton and wife Ruth, of Jenningsville, Pa and Sister Carole Rae and husband James, of Burlington Twp, NJ. 12 Grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 am from the Jenningsville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Riverton, NJ. Friends may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
