Charles R. Andren 68, of Meshoppen died Thursday July 17, 2008 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming moving to Pennsylvania in 1972. He was the son of the late Arland and Minnie Andren. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany in 1999 after twenty seven years of service. He was known as Chuck by all who knew him. He loved to fish and always enjoyed his vacation fishing trips every year to Black Lake, NY with his companion and best friends. Surviving is his companion of 20 years Barbara See, daughter Carri Dobbins of Cody, Wyoming, son Guy of Cheyenne, Wyoming, grandsons Shayne, Corey, Ryan and Guy Jr. all of Cheyenne, Wyoming, granddaughter Sky Dobbins, and a great granddaughter Harley of Cody Wyoming, Aunt Gladys Andren of Cody, Wyoming and several nieces and nephews. Friend may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Monday 7 to 9. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 pm with Pastor Tony Ogden of the Tunkhannock Baptist Church/ Following cremation his ashes will be buried in Cody Wyoming.
