Renate K. Stang of RR1 Meshoppen, died Thursday in the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock where she had been a guest for a few days. She was born on February 4, 1939 in Karlsruhe Germany daughter of the late Kurt and Margaret Coch Herrmann. She was a member of the Lemon United Methodist Church and the Lemon Ladies Aide Society. She was an accomplished artist, enjoyed working with her flowers, was a loving wife and aunt, and a friend to everyone. She had numerous friends and relatives in Germany in which she kept constant contact. Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Louis Stang, a brother Guerhan Herrmann of Germany, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grave side funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock with the Rev. John Shaffer Pastor of the Lemon United Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc, 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lemon United Methodist Church.
