Obituary of Nancy B. Shepulski

Nancy B. Shepulski of Whites Ferry Rd, Falls died Wednesday evening in the Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 27, 1950 daughter of the late John and Elizabeth McGinley Dunbar. Nancy was a graduate of Myers High School class of 1968 and a member of St Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church. In 1988 she founded the Hickory Dickory Dock Day Care Center in Tunkhannock. She enjoyed her family and friends and her love for children carried over to the loving care that was shown at her day care center. Nancy also enjoyed traveling and casino day trips. She was preceded in death by a brother John Dunbar Jr. Surviving is her husband of 38 years John Shepulski, son Jay and wife Jennifer of Lake Hopatcong NJ, daughter Jill and husband Kevin Dobrinski of South Abington Township, sisters Elizabeth Boyle of Mountain Top and Amy Jo Brustholum of Connecticut, brother Jerome J. Dunbar, grandchildren Parker and Karson Dobrinski, and Drew and Ryan Shepulski as well as nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 am at St Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church Lake Winola. Interment will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Family will receive friends on Friday evening at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St Tunkhannock, PA., from 7 – 9 pm. Family and friends are requested to go directly to the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Mary’s of the Lake, PO Box 1, Lake Winola, PA 18625.
