Obituary of Betty J. Tinsley

Betty Jean Tinsley, 65, of Hallstead passed away Wednesday, September 15th, due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born in Tunkhannock December 17, 1944 a daughter of the late Cornelius and Pauline Emmons Harris. Betty loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, and reading. Betty will be deeply missed by her entire family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Glen Mattocks. She is survived by her sons, Tim Mattocks of Tunkhannock, Keith Mattocks of New Milford and Kevin Mattocks of Tunkhannock. Daughter-in-laws, Veronica Mattocks of Hallstead, Theresa Mattocks of Lemon, Shyril Thompson of Lemon, and Rebecca DuPlessis of Vernon. Grandchildren Elyse Mattocks, Dustin Murray, Nikolas Mattocks, Samantha Mattocks, Aaliyah Mattocks, Allan Tripp, Ashleigh Mattocks, and Shanyn Mattocks, and great-grandchild Celeste Franklin. Special friends Paul Phillips and Maureen Dymond. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, at 11:00 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Rev. Lori Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm.
