Obituary of Caroline Hayden Kelch

Caroline Heydon Kelch of Lake Winola passed away on Monday September 26th at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock where she had been a guest for some time. She was born in Noxen on February 18, 1921 daughter of the late John M. and Ella V. Traver Dimmick. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a Linotype operator for the Montrose Independent. She was a member of St Mary’s of the Lake and its Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the Montrose VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her first husband John E. Heydon Sr. and second husband Ambrose Kelch; a step-son Thomas Kelch, a brother John S. Dimmick, and a sister Mary Pickering. Surviving is a son John and wife Carole Heydon of Falls, daughter Irene and Anthony Kitchnefsky of Falls, a brother Clarence and wife Jackie Dimmick of Plymouth, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga Street Tunkhannock with the Reverend Richard Polmounter of the Church of the Nativity BVM Tunkhannock, Interment will be in Orcutt Cemetery Noxen. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5- 7 pm.
