Edmund “Ed” S. Wikoski, 91, of Bartron Rd, Tunkhannock, died Monday in the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Born on November 23, 1917 in Scranton, son of the late Walter and Bridget Cebalski Wikoski Prior to retirement he was a self employed trucker and stone quarry operator. He was an army veteran serving during World War II. “Ed” was a member of the Church of the Nativity B.V.M. in Tunkhannock. Ed is survived by his wife of 69 years, Helen Dixon Wikoski, and brothers; Lewis of Falls, and Chester of Tunkhannock, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Walter and Alex, and sister’s Beatrice Rice, Helen Miller, Sophie Gentile, Rosemary Mikulski, and Anna Moore. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am from the Sheldon- Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am from the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming County Cancer Society, PO box 629, Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657.
