Jane Mable Evans of Falls died April 23 in Geisinger Community Center in Scranton. She was born in Tunkhannock on April 10, 1945 daughter of the late William F. and Emily Baker Strumski. Jane was a graduate of Falls Overfield High School class of 1963. For many fears she was a leader and active member of the Falls 4-H Club and a member of the New Life Community Church in Dallas. Jane was raised by her step mother Anna Marcinonis Strumski. She was preceded in death by her Husband William J. Evans and a brother William Strumski. Surviving is daughter and son in law Melissa and Joseph Smith of Lake Winola, step son Frank Evans of Elmhurst, sister and brother in law Peg and Norm Ball of Tunkhannock, grandchildren Amber, Joseph and Suzanne and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor GiDeon Giattino of the New Life Community Church, Dallas. Interment will be Memorial Shrine Carverton. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 6. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.sheldonkukuchkafuneralhome.com.
