John Tice Waardenburg of Bradenton, FL (previously of Tunkhannock) passed away at his home on Sunday, July 10th . His wife of 16 years, Nancy Keock, stepson Brian, daughter Wendy Waardenburg Miller, and twin brother Charles and wife Joyce Waardenburg were by his side. John was a truck driver for 20 years. He was then employed by Allied Bendix Areospace, Flight Systems Division as an electronic technician and production supervisor. He also worked for Eastern Airlines as an Avionic Technician. He was an Airforce veteran and trained as an Instrument/Auto Pilot Technician and was also in the Airforce Reserves. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Ross Waardenburg (they were married for 30 years) his only son Patrick John and his brother Albert. In addition to his wife Nancy, John is survived by his daughter Wendy Miller and husband Harold Jr., brother Charles Waardenburg and wife Joyce; 4 granddaughters, Krystle Evans Berkoski and husband Mark, Makinsey Evans and longtime partner Jeff Walter, Rosalee and Kennadi and one grandson Tice Patrick. He adored them all. He was also a stepfather to Tanya and husband Scott and three triplets, Brian, who provided so much of his care in the past couple of months, Barry and girlfriend Diana, and Billy and wife Eny and a grandfather to their two children Elisa and Willy whom he also adored. We will miss him and his sense of humor and will cherish every memory. Per John’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA.
