Phillip Robchewski, 87, of Falls passed away Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Scranton PA. He was born in Scranton on December 17, 1928. Son of the late Harry and Anne Porden Robchewski. At the time of his marriage he moved to falls to spend his life with his wife Marie. He was a heavy equipment operator for PENNDOT in Wyoming County, retiring after 28 years of service. He was often referred to as the mayor of Falls. He enjoyed wood working especially building lawn furniture and his picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and swings can be seen in many yards in Wyoming County. He was an avid Nascar fan traveling to numerous race car tracks around the country with his son Phillip. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Marie Kowalski Robchewski. Surviving is a son Phillip and companion Tamra Martin of Cincinnati Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday evening at 6pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock PA with mister David Betts officiating. Interment will be Monday at 10am Mountain View Cemetery Harding family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
