Joyce Huffsmith of Towanda ( formerly of Tunkhannock Pa) Born March 2, 1938 passed away August 31, 2016 at the home of her granddaughter, Ashley Smith who was taking care of her, surrounded by her loving family. After struggling with Alzheimer's Diasese.
Joyce was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Samuel Day of Mehoopany.
Joyce was preceded in death by her sister Beverly Simmers.
Surviving are sons Danny and Kate Jennings of Lincoln Delaware, David Jennings of Forkston PA., daughter Patty and Barry Konyves of Camptown PA, Brother Robert and Eloise Day of Mehoopany, sister Carol and James Borgeson of Tunkhannock, Brother in law Jack Simmers of Mehoopany Pa Grandchildren Luke and Ruth Shook of Tunkhannock, Ashley Fisk of Towanda, Broc Jennings of Saranac New York, and Katie Jennings of Tunkhannock Great Grandchildren Ashton Vischansky, Forrest Fisk and Abigail Shook whom she loved dearly.
Funeral Services will be conducted at The Sheldon¬Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock Pa 18657 Sunday August 4th beginning at 2PM with Pastor Betty Reilly presiding.
