Obituary of Rose Ann A. White

Rose Ann A. White of Tunkhannock died Saturday evening in Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She was born in Salem Twp., Wayne County on January 5, 1937 daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Mae Pruss Perkosky. Rose was a 1954 graduate of Tunkhannock high school and a 1956 graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. After receiving her RN diploma she worked in Mercy Hospital for several years retiring from Tyler Memorial Hospital where she worked for over 35 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM and its Altar and Rosary Society. Preceding her in death were brothers Anthony and Fr. Francis Perkosky and a sister Florence B D'Urso. Surviving is her husband of 59 years Donald White, son Donald and Sandra White of Clinton, NJ, daughters Sharon and Patrick Cosgrove of Wilmington, NC, Jennifer and Michael Azzolina, of Drexel Hill, Pa., grandchildren Ashley, Donald P. and Katherine White. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10am from the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. Interment will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, Pa. Friends may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 and on Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:30 am.
