Sidney Neal Eccles 82, of Dalton died February 24th at the Abington Manor in Clark Summit. He is survived by his wife Carol McLaughlin Eccles. He was born on April 13, 1934 son of the late George Thomas and Ida May Schoeneweis .
He is a retired veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea and Vietnam. He was a life member of the American Legion of New Albany, IN and enjoyed playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Dean, Dale, Wayne, and sister Victoria.
He is survived by his daughter Monica, Sister Judy, grandchildren Megan, Autumn and Evan, and a future great grandson. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
