Obituary of Melissa C. Coolbaugh

Melissa C. Coolbaugh, 32, of Tunkhannock, passed away unexpectedly on April 1st at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. Melissa was born in Tunkhannock on June 30, 1984. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School in 2002. Preceded in death by her father, Wendell R. Coolbaugh Jr.; brother, Joseph Coolbaugh; uncle, Daniel Drake; paternal grandfather, Wendell Coolbaugh Sr.; maternal grandfather, John Palmer; and maternal grandmother, Mary Anne Bartron-Drake Surviving are her son, Callum Joseph Jurista of Tunkhannock; mother Elizabeth Palmer-Sholes of Tunkhannock; brother Aaron Coolbaugh and wife of Harvey's Lake; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Coolbaugh of Tunkhannock and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Melissa was an incredible person that loved spending time with her son, Callum. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Melissa will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. “ Melissa was the most interesting person you'd ever want to meet, she was the brightest star that didn't want to dim, she was a rock star that never played an instrument, and that's what we loved about her.”- Aaron Coolbaugh, Melissa's loving brother.
