Obituary of Betty J. Swingle

Betty J. Swingle 75, of Centermorland died Thursday July 27th. She is survived by her companion Phil Culver.

Betty was born on September 30, 1941 daughter of the late George and Beva Chamberlin Baker.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 510 in Black Walnut.

She was preceded in death by her husband’s Richard D. Spencer I, and Fredrick R. Swingle Sr., son Brian D. Spencer, and Brother Robert, Gerald and Richard Baker.

She is survived by her sons Richard D. Spencer II, of Laceyville, Duane Spencer, of LeRaysville, Jerry Spencer, of Binghamton, NY, daughters Cindy and Albert Hitchcock, of Laceyville, Dawn and Jim Belcher, of Stevensville, Kelly and Tim Shoemaker, of Shavertown, Brother George Baker, sisters MaryAnn Nye, and Yvonne Baker, seven Step Children and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and her Companions Family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31st at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa. with Pastor Charles Bishop interment will be in Lacey Street Cemetery Laceyville. A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
