So sorry for your loss. Bobby was such a neat guy. I enjoyed hanging out in the garage drinking beer and talking about old cars. And jazz. And any number of other topics that popped into his head. Also having him along on the summer vacations on Maine was fun. He was happiest on the deck just “looking at the sea”. I’ll miss him. Love to all you guys and so sorry I was not able to make it out fir the service. You are all in my thoughts. Love Mel.

My father talked recently about the possibility of moving in with his younger brother and I said if that happened I would make an effort to visit in the spring on my annual motorcycle trip...that would have been great...The last time I spoke to uncle Bobby he told me of a ring I'd given to him when he went in to the military for good luck....I am not sure I remember that as I must have been no more than 6 years old at the time...He told me he wore it the entire time he was in service....may he R.I.P. ...God bless to all....vern...
