Obituary of Lillian I. Rayno

Lillian I. Rayno 88, of Mill City died Monday, December 25th at Regional Hospital in Scranton. Born in Mill City, PA she was the daughter of the late James Lesslie and Mildred Huffsmith Jacques.

 

She was a 1947 Graduate of the Falls Overfield School, and was a member of the lake Winola United Methodist Church serving as a, church board member and member of its finance committee. She also served as a member of the Lake Winola Fire Company Auxiliary and was a life time member of the Northeastern PA Volunteer Fireman’s Federation Auxiliary serving as president in 1974-1975, and a member of 4H for 16 years.

 

She is preceded in death  by her brothers Donald Jacques, and James Jacques, Jr. and a sister Marion Petty.

 

She is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Robert Arvonio, of Nicholson, grandchildren Marietta Arvonio, Yvonne Kwiatkowski, Bobbie Lynn Baillie, and Barbato Arvonio along with seven Great Grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 30th at 12 Noon from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Shultzville, Pa. A Viewing for friends and family will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
