Obituary of Romona G. Laughinghouse

Romona Laughinghouse of Tunkhannock, Pa. formerly of Rome, NY died at home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was born in Canton, NY on September 6, 1944.

She was a 1962 graduate of Knox Memorial Central School, NY. On May 10, 1963 she was united in marriage to Roy Laughinghouse. He passed away on October 28, 1992.

Prior to her retirement she worked for numerous employers retiring from Staff Management at the Proctor and Gamble Plant.

She loved fishing and camping. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor projects. Penny also loved cats and dogs and always had at least one in her household.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Laughinghouse.  Surviving are sons and daughter-in -laws, James and Ann Laughinghouse, Tunkhannock, Roy Laughinghouse, Whitesboro, NY, Debra Laughinghouse, Rome, NY, brother, Tex Holmes, Canton, NY, Terry Holmes, Canton, NY, sisters Catherine Goldie, Lisbon, NY,, Colleen Murdock, Canton, NY,  grandchildren Austin, Jenna, and Taylor Laughinghouse.

At Ramona’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.  Arrangements in trusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., Tunkhannock.
